Some sample balances are carried from earlier records; living expenses are derived. A balanced identity does not guarantee complete or accurate entries.

A record you can check

The figures and explanations use the same facts. Missing and uncertain information stays visible.

Σ ≡ ΔNW

Seven terms, with the difference visible

Income minus living expenses and interest, plus investment market change, property valuation change, currency change, and unexplained change — seven terms sum to the change in net worth. Principal repayment moves money within your balance sheet; it is not another gain.

CN / US

Read it in your language

Balance sheet, cash flow and income statements use Chinese account form or American report form. The first record is a point-in-time overview; a second record enables a period comparison.

CNY

Separate assets from usable funds

Available net worth uses immediate and short-term assets, less repayments. It is not a bank balance or a promise that all funds can be spent immediately.

Start with what you remember

01

Connect a supported client

Use a client with remote HTTP MCP, OAuth and dynamic client registration. Check that your account has a custom connector entry.

02

Record what you have

Give balances in the order you remember them, or import a sheet. Web pages let you review the record; balances are updated through the conversation.

03

Return to your record

The first record shows assets on one date. With another record, compare the period and check the sources before sharing.

Connection and first record steps

https://finpeep.com/mcp

Your household, with clear boundaries

Decide who joins, check what a report includes and understand where copies go.

Access follows household membership

Members see the households they join, with the permissions of their role. Household access is checked when reading and changing records.

Private accounts are excluded by default

Household reports and web sharing exclude private accounts by default. A report explicitly requested with private accounts can contain them; check its scope before sending it.

Revocation stops future opens

Revoking a share link stops future access through that link. It cannot remove copies someone has already downloaded or saved.

Figures and wording share the same facts

Numbers are computed from your entries. Report wording comes from system templates based on those figures; missing data and unexplained changes remain visible.

Before you start

Do I need a transaction log?

You can start with balances. The first record is a snapshot; comparing two dates creates period statements. Time needed depends on your accounts and the information you have.

How are figures and words produced?

The server computes figures from your entries. Report wording comes from system templates based on those figures. Reconciliation helps you check the record; it is not a guarantee of accuracy.

Who can see private accounts?

Household reports exclude private accounts by default. You can explicitly request a report that includes them. Check report scope and saved copies before sharing.

What about clients and training policies?

The Agent client receives the information you submit and the results it requests. Client and identity providers have their own policies. Review the data handling page and the providers you use.

What happens if plan limits change?

History outside a plan’s report window remains stored and can be exported. Payments and refunds are not implemented as a self-service flow. Current deletion and retention boundaries are described on the data handling page.

One record is a useful beginning.

You do not need a perfect list to begin. Keep track of what is known, then return to check and add the rest.
